Cable Manufacturing Technician

Manufacturing Operator

We are seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join our cable production team. In this role, you will operate and monitor cable manufacturing equipment, perform production processes, inspect products for quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.

• Set up and operate cable manufacturing equipment, including extrusion lines.
• Perform extrusion, braiding, stranding, re-spooling, bobbin winding, packaging, and optical testing.
• Review work orders and specifications to ensure quality standards are met.
• Inspect finished products and make machine adjustments as needed.
• Complete production documentation and data entry.
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting and continuous process improvements.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or an Associate degree is a plus.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Mechanical or technical background preferred.
• Experience with extrusion or optical fiber cable manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to read work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
