• Assists customers in selecting frames and lenses that match vision, lifestyle, and budget; suggests improvements and recommends solutions. Supports other retail associates with complex customer needs and prescriptions.
• Anticipates problems, explores underlying reasons MVC recurring issues, and develops long‑term solutions.
• Shows patience and courtesy and queries answers to unfamiliar questions or products.
• Educates customers on Lens Crafters guarantees and services, including the Eyewear Protection Plan, care tips, complimentary adjustments, and follow‑up services.
• Handles tasks such as taking measurements, adjusting or fitting eyewear accurately.
• Ensures finished eyewear meets Lens Crafters optical standards and customer requirements.

• Takes personal ownership to achieve personal and store goals.
• Acts as a role model and technical resource for all.

• Accurately operates POS, collects proper payment following security procedures, and maintains correct change.
• Explains “One Hour” processing and expected delivery times.
• Guides customers to pick up glasses upon return.
• Maintains store appearance and aligns visual displays with planograms.
• Promotes a safe working environment; reports safety opportunities.
• Demonstrates safe work practices and uses personal protective equipment in the lab.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Participation in a sanctioned Apprentice Program.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, team builder.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.
• Sales and service skills.
• Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
• Embraces new technology and change.

• Actively studying for Lens Crafters Quality, Fitting and Adjusting Program.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Previous customer service and retail experience.

Pay is based on geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage. A competitive bonus or commission plan may complement a firstulum ㊥ total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and employee discounts.
