Superior Hearth, Spas & Leisure (SHSL) is seeking a full‑time Customer Support Specialist for the Avon location. This position provides essential front‑line coverage and administrative support to ensure a consistent, high‑quality customer experience. The role supports the Branch Manager, Inside Sales Team, and service department by improving responsiveness, maintaining showroom standards, assisting with sales and warranty administration, and supporting daily operations.
This position plays a key role in protecting revenue, improving efficiency, and preventing coverage gaps.
- Greet and assist customers in-store and by phone, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience
- Direct customers to the appropriate team member and follow up on sales leads and inquiries
- Manage and respond to leads from manufacturer online portals
- Support the sales team with agreements, order follow‑ups, POS transactions, and customer communication
- Handle incoming service calls and route them to the appropriate technician or department
- Assist with warranty claim processing, including collecting photos, invoices, and required documentation
- Track warranty claim statuses and maintain organized service and warranty records
- Receive and enter purchase orders accurately into the system
- Stock, organize, and maintain showroom supplies, accessories, and sales materials
- Maintain showroom cleanliness, operational displays, event support, and provide general administrative support to the Branch Manager and sales team
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in customer service, retail, or sales support preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a professional phone and in‑person manner
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Moderate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, e‑mail, and internet systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced retail environment
- Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to support multiple departments
- Professional appearance and positive, customer‑focused attitude
