Job Overview

Join our team as a full‑time Retail Sales Associate at AAA Club Alliance. The role involves delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales in a dynamic retail environment.

Location & Schedule

E. Main Street, Avon, CT 06001. Store hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM;
Saturday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM. 37.5‑hour work week. No Sundays.

Compensation

Base pay: $18.82–$24.07 per hour, based on experience, location, and other factors. Eligible for incentive pay with an average payout of $162–$389 per month.

Responsibilities
  • Consistently upsell and cross‑sell AAA products, including memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals.
  • Assist members in planning domestic travel vacations, such as car rentals, hotels, vacation packages, maps, tour books, and triptiks.
  • Answer incoming overflow calls for Roadside Assistance during peak call volumes, ensuring timely service.
  • Provide backup support for cashiering, tag and title, and IDEMIA services when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Previous sales and customer service experience, with a proven ability to drive results.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency navigating multiple websites and computer programs; strong computer skills essential for multitasking.
  • Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain one within 6 months of employment.
  • Basic geography knowledge is beneficial.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of pre‑employment and post‑employment screenings (criminal, drug, state and vendor‑specific).
  • Ability to obtain required membership license or other authorizations needed to perform essential functions.
