Rader & Rader PC is looking for an experienced and detail-driven Senior Tax Accountant (CPA) to join their team in Avon, IN. • Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, businesses, partnerships, trusts, and corporations
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio
• Research and interpret current tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Identify tax savings opportunities and minimize liabilities through proactive planning
• Contribute to the overall success of the firm and staff by promoting efficient execution throughout the engagement while cultivating positive client relationships
• Assist with IRS and state tax notices, audits, and correspondence
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports and records by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Communicate with partners, staff, and clients to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting
• Manage multiple client requests in an efficient and timely manner

• Active CPA license required
• 5+ years of public accounting or tax experience
• Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., Ultra Tax, Pro System fx, or similar), Word and Excel
• Strong knowledge of federal and Indiana state tax codes and regulations
• Demonstrate ownership of work assigned and take the initiative to complete the work assigned in a timely manner
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Display the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to clients & staff in a respectful and professional manner
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance
