Job Functions:
The School Registrar plays a vital role in the administration and management of the school, particularly in maintaining student records and ensuring compliance with various educational regulations.
Salary Lane:
Hourly pay starting at $20.00.
FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt
Assigned Workday Calendar: 206 days (School Year Days)
Job Status:
Full-Time - 40 Hours per Week
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Qualifications:
* Education:
A high school education is required. Advanced training is preferred.
* Certification:
None is required, but certification through training and professional associations is desirable.
* Experience:
None is required, but office experience is preferred.
* Skills and Knowledge:
Human relations, word processing, data entry, computer and office skills.
* Other:
Ability to maintain a positive relationship with pupils, staff, parents, and the community.
Essential Functions:
* Assume shared responsibility for the clerical functions of the guidance office/counselors and administrators.
* Acquire and maintain student data to the highest degree of confidentiality.
* Act as a primary liaison between the administration, counselors, and faculty with the school community
* Responsible for organizing files, developing spreadsheets, faxing reports, and scanning documents, maintaining front desk and reception area in neat and organized fashion.
* Answer phones, take messages and screen/direct calls to the appropriate guidance office staff.
* Set the invitational tone of the guidance office with warmth and professionalism.
* Build and maintain positive rapports/relationships with administrators, staff, students, parents, and community members.
* Answer student questions and assist students with needs before, during and after school.
* Created spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel for record-keeping and reporting.
* Demonstrate a willingness to assist and work cooperatively with all colleagues from all divisions.
* Responsible for organizing student registration days.
* Other duties as assigned.
* Participate in professional development, as assigned.
* Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance, vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
