Medical Receptionist

Description

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front desk experience.

Hours:

Monday: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

Tuesday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm

Wednesday: 12:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm

Friday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

+ Greet and assist patients and visitors, delivering a positive and empathetic experience.

+ Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the check-in/out process.

+ Verify patient information and insurance details; update records accurately.

+ Maintain the reception area, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health protocols.

+ Collect payments, process billing information, and resolve basic patient inquiries.

+ Coordinate communication between patients, medical staff, and offices.

+ Adhere to patient confidentiality regulations and organizational policies.

Requirements

+ High school diploma or equivalent required.

+ 2 years previous experience in medical office setting preferred

+ 2-3 years experience working in a business office

+ Previous experience with multi-phone lines

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic scheduling systems.

+ Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm in a busy environment.

+ Professional appearance and attitude.
