Desktop Support Technician, Avon, Indiana (US-IN), United States (US).
Position Overview- Well‑rounded knowledge of policies and procedures in the work area.
- Requires discretion and independent judgment for non‑routine matters, primarily routine work activity.
- May make policy recommendations to managers and serve as escalation point for less experienced team members.
- Performs troubleshooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, deployment, and repair on desktops, notebooks, and printers.
- May respond to calls after normal business hours per leader instructions.
- Identifies potential issues that could adversely impact end‑user experience and takes corrective action.
- Updates and resolves tickets in a timely manner to achieve Service Levels.
- 3+ years of Desktop Support experience in a Windows operating system environment.
- Solid client service skills.
- A+ desktop certification or equivalent skill set (additional hardware platform certifications may be required).
- Ability to physically perform general office requirements.
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Undergraduate degree or some college coursework preferred.
