Full Time
- Day: 5 a.m. – 5 p.m., 3 days/week rotating days. Limited weekends and holidays required.

This position is referral eligible.

Full time roles are eligible for a sign on bonus of $30,000.

This position requires at least 2 years of RN experience. About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated Vascular Access Clinical Nurse to join our Vascular Access team at IU Health Fishers. In this vital role, you’ll support the hospital through vascular access responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
  • Placement of ultrasound-guided IVs, PICCs.
  • Help with difficult access or blood draws.
  • Monitor and manage vascular access inventory and supplies.
  • Document procedures accurately and in accordance with hospital policy.
  • Collaborate with charge and bedside nurses to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Provide compassionate support to patients and their families.

  • Previous vascular access nursing experience.
Qualifications
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required;
    Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Candidates with more than two years of acute care experience and not from a nationally accredited program may be considered, subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty in accordance with patient care policies.
