As a Part Time Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents (18 and up) in our Health Center located in Avon, IN. The scheduled hours are Tuesday and Thursday 8am‑5pm. This role begins virtual in October 2026 and will move to the onsite clinic in February 2027.
What You’ll Do- Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines
- Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
- Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
- Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies
- Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed
- Maintain patient health records ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice
- Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice
- Maintains State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
- Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
- State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (list provided) and New York ROPES registration
- Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
- Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (transcripts required if certificate does not state Nursing)
- Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers;
Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services - At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
