Join the Pre-op PACU IR Cath team at IU Health West, where you'll work alongside leading physicians and multidisciplinary teams dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes.
Our 10-bed Pre-op PACU IR Cath unit provides comprehensive pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing a variety of cardiovascular and interventional procedures, including:
- Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterizations
- Interventional Cardiac Procedures
- Interventional Radiology (IR) Procedures
In this role, you will guide patients through their procedural experience while utilizing advanced nursing skills, clinical judgment, and compassionate care. Nurses in this department have the unique opportunity to make an immediate impact while developing expertise in cardiac and interventional procedural nursing.

Required
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
- Active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license or active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum of one (1) year of critical care nursing experience required
Preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Advanced Life Support certifications may be required based on department specialty and patient care policies.
Important:
Candidates must have a minimum of one year of recent critical care experience. This requirement is essential for success in this highly specialized procedural care environment.
