Java Developer JSF - Production Support

For one of our Client in the Insurance Segment, we are searching for a Regular or Senior Java developer with JSF.

• Analysis, designing and development
• Perform proactive production support activities, engage in automation activities, and perform root cause analysis and remediation
• Write and maintain scripts to monitor system functionality and performance
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Work hours will vary based on shifts, biweekly rotation. Shift Timings are in EST time zone: 12:00pm-9:00pm EST or 09:00am-06:00pm EST (currently it is 11am-8pm Mexico time or 08:00am-05:00pm Mexico time; daylight savings in the middle of March will adjust shift timings)
• Should be flexible to provide extended production support / support to the team on need basis (extended support during outages; weekend support a few times a month based on team roster)

• Minimum 3-5 years Java experience
• Concept of Core Java and Sound knowledge on JSF
• Good at analysis, designing and development using Java 8.0 & above
• Analytical and technical knowledge on basic SQL and Reporting tools
• Perform proactive production support activities, engage in automation activities, and perform root cause analysis and remediation
• Knowledge and experience in Software development lifecycle
• Write and maintain scripts to monitor system functionality and performance
• Lead and mentor/guide team
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) project management framework
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Hands on experience in providing production support
• Should be flexible to provide extended support to the team on need basis

• Technical certification preferred and/or required, where applicable
• Understanding of Life & Annuity Insurance products (strongly preferred)
