JOB DESCRIPTION:

PMO (PROJECT MANAGEMENT) CO-OP

This co-op position is for students majoring in Business Engineering, Finance, or Operations. It offers an opportunity to learn about the business of a leading commercial vehicle supplier from various perspectives within the company. The co-op involves working within the Project Management Office in different roles to gain a comprehensive understanding of project, portfolio, and product change management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across functions to improve project and product change delivery performance
  • Assist with planning and reporting activities for projects and product changes
  • Manage project and change management systems to handle increasing complexity
  • Learn various business functions to understand operational activities
  • Support the creation and updates of business cases, understanding project business case elements
  • Learn and apply agile project management techniques within the business framework
  • Help develop training content for systems and processes
  • Support the development and implementation of audit procedures for project and change management activities
  • Participate in other special projects as assigned

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Detail-oriented and task-focused
  • Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations
  • Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
