Wealth Management Firm – Northeast Ohio – Onsite Role
A growing and team-oriented wealth management firm is seeking an Operations Manager/Director to help strengthen operational execution, workflow accountability, communication flow, and day‑to‑day coordination across the organization.
This is a newly created role designed to support the continued growth and operational maturity of the firm. The Operations Manager/Director will serve as a central point of coordination across multiple internal teams, helping ensure initiatives, projects, client service workflows, and operational priorities stay organized, on track, and moving forward.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure, accountability, consistency, and follow‑through to a fast‑paced and relationship‑driven environment.
The right person will be highly organized, proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working closely with leadership while also supporting team members throughout the office.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee day‑to‑day operational flow across multiple internal teams
- Help ensure projects, initiatives, and client‑related workflows remain on pace and properly executed
- Support accountability and follow‑through related to operational priorities and timelines
- Facilitate communication and coordination between departments and team members
- Conduct regular check‑ins with team members regarding workflow, challenges, and operational support needs
- Assist with meeting cadence, project tracking, and operational planning
- Oversee vendor coordination and general office operational needs
- Help create consistency around processes, communication, and execution standards
- Partner with leadership to improve organizational efficiency and operational effectiveness over time
- Teams operate with improved communication and accountability
- Operational initiatives stay organized and on schedule
- Leadership gains greater visibility into workflow and execution
- Team members have stronger operational support and coordination
- The office environment feels more proactive, organized, and connected
- Prior experience in operations, practice management, office management, project coordination, or team leadership
- Experience with in wealth management, financial services, professional services, or another highly relationship‑driven business environment preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable balancing multiple priorities and personalities
- Naturally proactive with strong follow‑through
- Able to work collaboratively in an in‑office team environment
- Strong problem‑solving and coordination abilities
- Comfortable learning the firm’s culture, workflows, and operational structure before implementing process improvements
This role is intended to be both hands‑on and collaborative. The successful candidate will spend time learning the firm’s people, workflows, systems, and culture while gradually helping strengthen operational consistency, accountability, and execution across the organization.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience, demonstrated operational leadership capability, and ability to contribute meaningfully within the role.
