Position Summary

Position Summary... What you’ll do... Increases the quality of the customer experience by ensuring appropriate service levels scheduling and effective merchandise presentation providing accurate and competitive pricing and ensuring fuel station meets company standards for cleanliness Oversees the execution of food safety standards cold chain compliance and food merchandise quality by evaluating the temperature storage sanitation date coding product rotation labels and recalls on stocked merchandise and ensuring the fresh areas forecast for onhand supplies and current instock are in line with company expectations and the fuel station budget Audits and reviews accounting receiving and personnel records by overseeing and completing cash deposits and various financial transactions conducting research for accounting related activities as necessary overseeing and completing receiving paperwork logs and other required documentation and maintaining personnel and employment documentation according to company policies and procedures and applicable local state and federal laws and regulations Provides customer service direction and guidance to fuel station associates by teaching different approaches and techniques to meet customer needs and ensure issues are successfully resolved in accordance with policies and procedures and assisting with customer service as needed by resolving customer complaints assisting customers with purchases answering questions and providing information Drives the financial performance of a fuel station by ensuring that budgeted sales wages and other expenses are achieved controlling expenses and wages to ensure expenses are indexed to sales monitoring and sharing local fuel prices with appropriate fuel leadership creating and implementing plans to improve the financial performance of the facility overseeing the creation of budgets and participating in analyzing economic trends and community needs for budget forecasting Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and applicable local state and federal laws and regulations for the fuel station by analyzing and interpreting reports monitoring human resource compliance asset protection fuel compliance and safety controls overseeing safety operational and quality assurance reviews developing and implementing action plans to improve performance providing direction and guidance on executing company programs and strategic initiatives and maintaining confidential handling of information documentation and records Initiates directs and participates in community outreach programs by encouraging associates to serve and supporting them in serving as good members of the community establishing and maintaining relationships with key individuals or groups in the community and acting as the representative for the company presenting the companys perspective to various external organizations in accordance with the companys media guidelines and championing company sponsored programs events and sustainability efforts to associates customers and the local community to emphasize the fuel station as part of the community Coordinates completes and oversees job related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs identifying and communicating goals and objectives building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results identifying and addressing improvement opportunities and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training mentoring assigning duties providing recognition and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission values and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy: and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices Respect the individual:
