Merchandise Coordinator Supervisor

Home Goods, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Merchandise Coordinator Supervisor to support our fast-paced operations. In this role, you will oversee merchandise flow, inventory accuracy, and coordination between production, purchasing, and logistics. You'll lead a small team, optimize stock levels, and maintain clear documentation and reporting. Drawing on Widgets Co's collaborative, growth-focused culture, you'll drive continuous improvement, support safety and quality standards, and help streamline processes to keep industrial tools moving efficiently through the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily merchandise coordination and inventory activities for manufacturing operations
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to support production schedules
• Collaborate with purchasing, production, and logistics to optimize material flow
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and documentation
• Analyze inventory data to identify variances, trends, and process improvements
• Train, schedule, and mentor merchandise coordination staff
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all material handling activities
• Coordinate with vendors and carriers on deliveries and discrepancies
• Prepare regular reports on inventory accuracy, shrinkage, and efficiency
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and production interfaces
