Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Building Maintenance
Overview
Maintenance Technician at First National Bankers Bank. The Maintenance Technician will take ownership for the overall maintenance and repairs of assigned clubs to ensure a safe and positive member experience, responsible for the clubs’ appearance and functionality, purchasing and inventory of maintenance parts & supplies, and maintaining associated documentation. Travel to various club locations is required.
Responsibilities- Perform building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary
- Repair/replace broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.)
- Conduct club inspections to identify and resolve issues; coordinate with Facilities Manager and Operations Managers on maintenance needs and repairs
- Prioritize maintenance and repairs of company equipment and parts, including cardio and strength training equipment
- Implement preventative maintenance measures
- Maintain a Maintenance Log using the company CMMS on an iPad or equivalent device
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
- Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
- Assist in maintenance activities for new club facilities and current clubs
- Represent the company in a professional manner and adhere to PF dress code
- Check and respond to email daily
- Respond quickly in emergencies, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocols
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in general maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, mechanical and carpentry skills
- Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field is a plus
- High School diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license and ability to travel between multiple locations
- Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and construction of building structures and systems
- Knowledge of safety management principles and office procedures
- Read and understand construction drawings, plans and specifications
- Problem-solving independently
- Demonstrate tact and diplomacy in interactions; use appropriate behavior and language
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Reliability and punctuality; strong work ethic and honesty
Work is performed in indoor and outdoor environments; travel between sites; exposure to noise, dust, grease, gases, and weather conditions. Primary functions require walking, standing, sitting, and the ability to climb ladders; lifting up to 80 lbs; operating assigned equipment and vehicles; and verbal communication.
