Job Summary The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception property including the church, school buildings, parish office building, rectory, and parish grounds and will ensure all facilities remain safe, functional, and available for productive use. This position will oversee maintenance staff and be the primary point of contact for all maintenance issues. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills along with flexibility are paramount in this supervisory role.##

Essential Functions
* Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and basic mechanical work.
* Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to ensure safety and proper operation.
* Maintain parish and school grounds including winter maintenance, landscaping, debris removal, and seasonal upkeep.
* Oversee maintenance staff and assist volunteers who clean the church.
* Maintain tools, equipment, utility vehicles, and maintenance logs.
* Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, inspections, laws, codes, and requirements, including:  + Fire inspections  + Asbestos inspections  + OSHA Compliance  + Board of Health inspections  + Backflow prevention requirements  + Other applicable facility and safety requirements
* Assist with and oversee event setup and teardown as needed.
* Troubleshoot facility issues and determine the appropriate course of action.
* Work in collaboration with the Business Manager on renovation projects, purchases and overall maintenance needs.
* Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours and weekend issues.
* Perform other duties as assigned.## Position Specification / Requirements### Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities
* Prior experience in general maintenance, facility upkeep and managing team members.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Available for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
* Supportive of the mission of the Catholic Church.
* Respectful demeanor along with a neat and well-groomed appearance.
* Demonstrate trustworthiness and maintain confidentiality as needed.
* Must be able to pass a background check and complete Virtus training.
* Must hold a valid driver’s license.
* Must hold or be willing to obtain a Designated Asbestos Management Certificate.##

* Regularly lift 50+ pounds.
* Work in various weather conditions.
* Stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.
* Perform hands-on maintenance and groundskeeping tasks.
