As the Director of Operations, you’ll provide leadership to the team by providing a positive and forward-thinking outlook, with problem solving  this role you will be responsible for helping streamline, refine and create efficiencies in our system and processes.

You will lead by example - jumping in to assist the team with projects and deadlines as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Create and implement role expectations, responsibilities, and structure by defining who is responsible for what
  • Oversee the work of our team – endure productivity, accountability and meeting deadline while maintaining company standards
  • Oversee operational efficiency – create job role sheets by serving as the building block to organize work and schedules to maintain a continuous workflow by eliminating bottlenecks.
  • Enhance systems and processes to ensure all PODs are on track with yearly mission.
  • Oversee the firm’s three season review process (move from annually to 4-month segments to enhance feedback and collaboration).
  • Run daily, weekly and monthly structured and value driven team meetings including follow up to accomplish tasks and goals.
  • Lead, mentor and coach employees to help them grow in their career
  • Help with daily time management – as we operate at a quick pace.
  • Train and develop new employees – provide a clear roadmap regarding their role to speed up productivity.
  • Excellent, proactive communicator, with the ability to quickly establish relationships.
  • Great organization skills and the ability to develop, run and oversee projects at one time.
  • Monitor and share with owners’ operational reports and implement adjustments and updates.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet client needs and help achieve company goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or financial services
  • Three plus years in a Director of Operations role with a financial investment firm or professional services firm
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a friendly team
  • A strong focus on providing high-quality customer service and building rapport is necessary.
  • Ability to manage an office and professional staff and work extended hours as workload demands
  • Excellent technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Advice Works platform.
  • Salary range commensurate with level of experience and certifications.
