This isn’t just a general labor role—this is an opportunity to be a critical part of our welding operation. You’ll work side-by-side with skilled welders to keep production flowing smoothly by loading and unloading ladder tray, prepping materials on jigs, cleaning welds, and preparing finished product for shipment. Your work will directly increase team efficiency and help us deliver high-quality products to our customers faster.

The General Laborer supports the production team by performing a variety of tasks involved in the manufacturing of cable trays. This includes material handling, machine operation assistance, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced industrial setting.

• Perform routine cleaning tasks inside the plan and on outside grounds.
• Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting and moving materials.
• Operate floor scrubbers and empty scrap and waste cans throughout the facility.
• Assist with packaging, labeling and preparing products for shipment.
• Operate hand tools, power tools and material handling equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Support other departments or tasks as needed to meet production goals.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

• Tow motor experience

• Exposure to noise, dust and metal particles
• Conditions may be hot or cold depending on season and machinery
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks as required
• Personal Protective Equipment is required based on area/machine/job

• Good attendance – 0 missed days in 60 days
• Shows flexibility and ability to multi task
