The Machine Operator - Production Machining CNC is responsible for operating multi-purpose numerically controlled machines, measuring parts, and making necessary offset modifications to maintain quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail and a mechanical mindset to support the daily machining operations.
Pay Range: $17.07-$21.66
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload parts from machine and pack.
- Operate machines by activating controls and monitoring for accuracy and performance.
- Change inserts and adjust clamps as necessary.
- Check the quality of the parts by observing the machine operation and inspect work pieces using micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges.
- Clear scrap from machine regularly and keep work area clean.
- Perform other customer- or product-driven duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- 6 months to 1 year of machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.

- Blueprint reading
- Machining operations
- Basic mathematics
- SPC (Statistical Process Control)
- Proficient use of gauges, micrometers, and calipers

- Lifting:
Medium - Frequent use of hands and fingers for tool handling and machine operation
