Are you a hands-on manufacturing leader who enjoys being on the floor, leading by example, and keeping production running smoothly? We’re partnering with a growing manufacturer seeking a Lead Machine Operator to support daily production, guide shop‑floor teams, and help drive results across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). This is a high-visibility role for someone who enjoys balancing leadership, problem-solving, and hands‑on manufacturing work.

• Lead day‑to‑day production activities across multiple machines or work cells to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets
• Promote a strong safety‑first culture by reinforcing PPE usage, 5S, and safe work practices
• Ensure products meet quality standards, work instructions, process control plans, and customer requirements
• Coordinate workflow, shift priorities as needed, and reduce downtime to achieve production goals
• Train, coach, and support operators to build consistency, accountability, and team performance
• Troubleshoot routine equipment or process issues and partner with Maintenance when needed
• Track and report production metrics including labor, scrap, and downtime
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Materials teams to resolve issues and improve processes
• Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with material flow and inventory coordination to keep production running efficiently

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of lead, supervisor, or senior operator experience in a manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of hands‑on manufacturing experience (CNC machining experience is strongly preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and use standard measuring tools
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems
• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles
