The Material Handler is responsible for loading, unloading, transporting, and storing materials within the plant to ensure timely delivery of products to internal and external customers. This position plays a critical role in maintaining production flow, supporting shipping operations, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

• Load and unload materials to and from racks, shelves, and vehicles such as trucks.
• Transport materials throughout the plant as required to support production and shipping needs.
• Stack, pile, shrink wrap, and band materials to secure items for safe transport.
• Store materials according to specifications and production requirements.
• Receive and track materials using PLEX system.
• Create and attach identifying labels, tags, or markings to containers and materials.
• Follow and promote adherence to all safety policies and plant rules.
• Report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and storage locations.

• High school diploma or GED required
• No prior experience required; previous experience operating a tow motor preferred
• Tow Motor License (required or obtainable)
• Ability to read and follow basic work instructions
• Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Comfort working in environments where safety rules are strictly enforced
• Awareness of safety symbols, signals, and hazard recognition
• Attention to detail and accuracy in labeling, tracking, and inventory tasks
• Ability to work closely with a team and communicate effectively
• Responsiveness in dynamic or unexpected situations

• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs regularly.
• Frequent standing, walking, stooping, and bending.
• Occasional climbing and reaching overhead.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment, including tow motors and pallet jacks.
• Adequate visual acuity and hand-eye coordination for labeling and system data entry.
• Must be able to work in warehouse/plant environments that may include noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including ear and eye protection as required.
