Mill Machinist - 1st shift

We are actively hiring a CNC Set‑Up Operator to support CNC milling/routing and primary operations within a collaborative manufacturing work cell.

Salary: $20 - $30 per hour

• Set up and operate 3 & 5 axis CNC Mills/Routers and primary operations equipment
• Lead setups for new and existing programs; support operators as needed
• Machine parts to print using work orders, blueprints, and GD&T
• Perform self‑inspection and process non‑conforming material per procedure
• Set tooling/work offsets and adjust machining parameters
• Troubleshoot routine machining or process issues and communicate trends
• Track scrap, document issues, and support continuous improvement efforts
• Complete all required production and quality documentation
• Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards

• 3–5 years CNC milling experience
• 1–2 years CNC setup experience
• Experience troubleshooting manufacturing processes

• G & M code comprehension
• Proficient with calipers, height gauges, and precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Mechanical aptitude and solid math skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
