CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

About the Position

Machine Operator – 2nd Shift (5‑day work week). 8‑hour shifts, 2:15‑10:45 PM. 1–3 years of experience with vertical/horizontal CNC milling required.

Location:

Avon, Ohio. Operate CNC machinery to fabricate aerospace components, run both production and non‑production jobs, and maintain a safe, organized, clean work environment.

• Set‑up, load, and run product into the CNC machine.
• Perform daily maintenance on equipment and clean work area after each shift.
• Perform manual deburring operations as needed.
• Follow the Process Routing Document, perform inspections, and legibly record results.
• Complete reports and other associated paperwork.
• Communicate with management, supervisor, operators, quality, and other shop personnel to assign work and resolve machining or quality issues.
• Follow all applicable Quality Management System procedures, work instructions, and forms.
• Safeguard company, customer, and supplier property (electronic, intellectual, and physical).
• Manage assigned records as owner.

• Must have 1–3 years of experience with vertical/horizontal CNC milling.
• Willing to work 2nd shift, 5‑day work week, 8‑hour shifts, 2:15‑10:45 PM.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
• Proficient with machining operations such as drilling, turning, and tapping.
• Familiar with vertical and horizontal machines.
• Demonstrates inspection competence.
• Demonstrates basic mathematical skills.
• Has mechanical and technical capacity.
• Fluency in written and spoken English required.
