Registered Nurse – Night Shift (36‑hour week)

Job Type: Full Time

Shift: Nights Only, 36‑hour weeks (12‑hour shift 7:00–7:30)

University Hospitals Avon Rehabilitation Hospital is an inpatient rehabilitation hospital located in Avon, Ohio, committed to providing exceptional care.

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patients and/or families and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

• Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio.
• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR/BCLS certification (ACLS preferred).
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation documentation systems preferred.
