Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (day shift)

Saint Therese - Avon, OH Part-Time | Licensed Practical Nurse

Shift: 6:30am - 7:00pm | 24 hours per two-week pay period. This position includes working every other weekend and every other holiday.

The Difference You'll Make

Bring your clinical expertise and compassion to a flexible part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, 12 hours per pay period), where you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care. In this position, you'll provide skilled nursing support—administering medications, performing treatments, and closely monitoring resident conditions—while building trusted relationships with residents and their families. You'll also serve as a key resource on the care team, partnering with providers and guiding STNAs to ensure safe, consistent, and coordinated care.

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans and physician orders
  • Safely administer medications and treatments while monitoring resident response and effectiveness
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation using electronic health record systems
  • Assess and communicate changes in resident condition to the Nurse Manager, providers, and family members, and assist with appropriate follow-up care
  • Coordinate, oversee, and provide guidance to State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs)
  • Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures and state and federal regulations
  • Promote a respectful, compassionate, and person-centered care environment
  • Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and strong customer service in daily practice
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing in the State of Ohio
  • Current CPR certification
  • Completion of Ohio requirements for medication administration
  • Working knowledge of Ohio state rules and healthcare regulations
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively with STNAs and care team members
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and professional work standards
  • Ability to comply with all federal, state, and local health regulations, including required post-offer screenings
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred
  • IV certification
  • Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or senior living settings
