Registered Nurse; RN Rehabilitation

Registered Nurse (Full Time – Nights 7:00pm – 7:30am)

Registered nurse (RN) joining our team at University Hospital Avon Rehab will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, ensuring compassionate, evidence‑based care for our patients.

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with the nursing process and applicable standards of practice.
• Plan and deliver care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care provided.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living—personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
• Assess learning needs of patients and families and provide education tailored to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
