We are looking for an experienced, compassionate Clinical Director of Nursing (RN) who is ready to provide strong clinical leadership and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, families, and team members. In this role, you will lead nursing services at the Saint Therese/St. Mary of the Woods campus in Avon, Ohio, helping to ensure the highest standards of quality care while fostering a culture of compassion, accountability, teamwork, and clinical excellence.

  • Lead with purpose: Provide vision, leadership, and direction for the Nursing Department, creating an environment where residents receive exceptional care and team members can thrive.
  • Champion resident-centered care: Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to ensure every resident receives compassionate, personalized, and high-quality care.
  • Turn quality into action: Use quality assurance programs, data, and facility committees to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective strategies that enhance resident outcomes.
  • Set the standard for excellence: Foster a culture where the highest standards of clinical quality, safety, and resident well-being are consistently upheld.
  • Empower your team: Support and develop nursing staff while promoting the Saint Therese's Mission, policies, and commitment to excellence in senior care.
  • Lead with confidence and accountability: Apply professional expertise to navigate regulations, policies, and day-to-day decisions that support outstanding care and a successful nursing operation.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Successful completion of an approved nursing program for Registered Nurses
  • Registered Nurse currently licensed in Ohio and in good standing.
  • Experienced as a health care leader for at least five years, specifically in housing, skilled nursing, home care, clinical and/or acute care setting.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory healthcare requirements of a skilled nursing environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Certification as a Geriatric Nurse desired
