Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) is hiring a Student Services Manager. This position provides college-wide consultation for student conduct administration, behavioral intervention, and comprehensive student care case management. The role partners with administrators, faculty, staff, Campus Police, and community resources to promote student success, campus safety, and regulatory reporting and compliance while providing consultation, training, and education on student behavior and intervention strategies.
The position is fully in-person.
- 25% Serve as the college's designated conduct officer: conduct investigations, provide case management, consult with faculty and staff, oversee resolution of escalated issues, serve as conduct hearing officer, ensure timely adjudication, collaborate with Campus Police and faculty on compliance.
- 25% Primary case manager for students identified through Care referrals: conduct intake assessment, evaluate risk factors, develop individualized support plans, conduct daily triage and risk assessment, coordinate proactive outreach and ongoing follow-up for student well-being.
- 20% Maintain a comprehensive conduct management database; compile and complete statistical analysis of all student conduct cases; compile annual BIT report; identify trends; maintain the college website for Conduct and Care.
- 15% Plan, design, develop, maintain and deliver resource information, trainings, presentations, reports, and correspondence related to all areas of responsibility; facilitate training of students on the conduct process and of faculty/staff on managing distressed, disruptive, and threatening students.
- 15% Serve as the main point of contact for student concerns/complaints in the Student Complaint Management System.
- Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, educational leadership or related field and five (5) years of full-time equivalent program administration or management experience, that includes two years of supervisory experience.
- OR an equivalent combination of degree and directly related full-time work experience sufficient to perform essential duties of the job.
