Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) is hiring a Program Coordinator. This position provides lead direction to staff in the tutoring center, backup support for tutoring for math courses across the curriculum, skills development for students and staff, and provides operational support in the Academic Success Center.
Essential Functions
70% - Provides lead direction for mathematics tutors in a face-to-face and online environment; assists in the ongoing learning for mathematics tutors and students, including training of tutors in the content area of mathematics.; utilizes appropriate software and technology in order to execute tutoring responsibilities (MS Office programs, Canvas, Tutor Trac, Matlab, Maple, and/or equivalent); develops and delivers resource materials, instructional aids, and workshops to students suitable for all levels of mathematical knowledge.
