Desired Qualifications &Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification for Arizona or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher in school settings
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, case management, and differentiated instruction
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with students, colleagues, and families
- Ability to adapt instruction and accommodations to meet diverse student needs
- Organizational skills to effectively manage caseloads across two sites
- Provide direct instruction and support to students identified for special education services
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to adapt curriculum and assessments
- Communicate regularly and effectively with families regarding student progress
- Employ best practices to track students academic and behavioral growth
- Serve as an advocate for students individual learning needs
