Position OverviewArizona Autism United is a leading nonprofit community organization seeking experienced and passionate Behavior Technicians for our West Valley Clinic in Avondale.
This is a full-time position with a pay range of $21–$27 per hour (depending on experience).
Behavior Technicians work under the direction of a Licensed Behavior Analyst (BCBA) providing high quality clinic-based ABA programs for children with autism.
Responsibilities- Implement individual ABA interventions as directed by a BCBA.
- Assist children with autism in setting, goal setting, and progress monitoring.
- Collaborate with team members and family to support treatment goals.
- Maintain accurate session documentation and data collection.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.
- Contribute to a supportive, client-centered work environment.
- Age 21 or older.
- Minimum 6 months of paid experience working with individuals with special needs.
- Reliable transportation, proof of car insurance, registration, and a valid driver’s license at the time of hire.
- Ability to pass required background checks and criminal history disclosure.
- Full-time availability Monday‑Friday, 8:15 a.m.‑6:15 p.m. (shifts 8–10 hours per day).
- All required physical requirements to provide safe client care.
- Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card or willingness to obtain one.
