This opportunity is for U.S. citizens who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, including Reserves, National Guard, and service member spouses. We are looking for a technology manager to lead a team that maintains cloud infrastructure for global data center operations. The candidate will have experience creating/devising strategies, mentoring people, sponsoring projects, and proposing technical solutions. This position involves leading teams in hardware and network diagnostics, physical repair, and participation in an on-call rotation.

Essential Requirements- Travel to the assigned data center location by vehicle (over 50 miles) or by ride-share (less than 50 miles) as required by business needs.
- Willingness to temporarily work at alternate sites during training periods or until the assigned facility is operational.
- Variation in travel frequency based on business needs and operational status of the assigned facility.
- Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators.
- Manage the performance of a diverse team of data center operation professionals across locations.
- Develop career paths for employees and update internal tools accordingly.
- Recruit and train data technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Ensure effective and efficient management of day‑to‑day data center operations, including queue management, 24/7 shift arrangement, and hardware logistics.
- Serve as a subject matter expert across all aspects of data center operations.
- Ensure all operational KPIs and metrics are measured and met.
- Inspire and guide improvement in team process, technology innovation, and automation.
- Manage large‑scale events (outages) and act as the call leader.
- Improve workflows and throughput for data center operations.
- Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures in line with industry best practices and required SLAs.
- Maintain the on‑call schedule, coordinating absences and vacations.
- Passionately pursue the quality and quantity of services, constantly improving the customer experience.
- Support data centers at various operational stages, including facilities still under development.
- 4+ years of Information Technology (IT) experience, or a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or an equivalent field.
- 2+ years of people management experience.
- 2+ years of operations and on‑call support for data center facilities, mission‑critical plants, or production facilities.
- 2+ years of computer hardware experience, including troubleshooting and repair.
- Experience in technical writing in a relevant field.
- Relevant certifications such as A+, Net+, Sec+, CCNA, LPIC, Linux+, AWS certification, or related credentials.
- Experience with system management tools and client/server environments.
