Network Install Technician, Infrastructure Delivery
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and provide the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that keep the cloud running. You will work with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of next‑generation networks and develop innovative ways to automate and scale our network.
Key Job Responsibilities- Move and implement large enterprise equipment.
- Install fiber and copper cabling and patch cabling between equipment.
- Ensure proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
- Follow well‑established hardware installation procedures and perform break‑fix activities.
- Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
- Travel within and outside the regional work area as required.
- Regularly lift or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
- Work in a 24/7 environment, participate in primary responder rotation, and provide after‑hours support as needed.
- Work in cramped, elevated, or noisy environments.
- Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.
- Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- 2+ years of experience in Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, Data Center Operations, or Technical Project Management.
- Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network+).
- Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment.
- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
- Experience with medium to large, complex project scopes and ambiguous details within a work environment.
- Knowledge of major Command Line Protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, GNU/Linux) and common networking protocols (BGP, OSPF).
- Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network+).
- Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment.
- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
- Experience with medium to large, complex project scopes and ambiguous details within a work environment.
- Knowledge of major Command Line Protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, GNU/Linux) and common networking protocols (BGP, OSPF).

Benefitsand Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $30.00 - $54.00 USD hourly. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
