Plasma Center Technician

Job Description

At Bio Life, flexibility matters. This role is truly part-time, with most shifts lasting 4 to 6 hours a day, 3+ days per week. We confirm your availability early in the interview process and keep you informed of schedule changes.

Your day involves greeting donors, ensuring their safety, and supporting plasma center operations. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and serve as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy.

• Answer phones and greet donors.
• Screen new and repeat donors, record vital signs and finger‑stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare charts, maintain records, and coordinate compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk/stand for the entire shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, reach above shoulders, and below knees.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., occasionally up to 32 lbs.; rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• 90% of tasks require prolonged glove wear due to blood borne pathogens (risk level
  1).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer or patient‑facing role.

USA – AZ – Avondale.

Hourly wage: $17.00. Additional incentives, medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, disability coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, sick time, and volunteer time.
