Position

Surgical Elite Avondale is hiring a Full Time OR RN in a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality care for patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric.

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients of all ages in the operating room.
• Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Center.
• Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments as well as team members.
• May have additional responsibilities designated by the Nurse Manager of the Operating Room and/or Director of Nursing, including serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits and projects.

Hours of operation are Monday – Friday 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. Shift hours may vary prior to 6:30 am and beyond 5:00 pm based on scheduling needs. The facility is typically closed on Saturdays, but occasional Saturday work may be required with notice. On‑call is not required.

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Baccalaureate degree preferred.
• Five (5) years’ experience in surgery as a circulator.
• Two (2) years’ experience in surgery management which includes pre‑op, intra‑op, and post‑op care.
• Current Arizona RN License – BLS.
• CNOR preferred – independent decision‑making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with staff and physicians.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
