Registered Nurse; RN; ICU

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) to provide expert patient care in an acute setting.

• Assessing patients' physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety, and discharge needs.
• Developing individualized, patient-specific care plans based on comprehensive assessments and data analysis.
• Implementing and monitoring nursing and medical orders, ensuring their appropriateness.
• Providing direct bedside care, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and acting as a shift supervisor when needed.
• Participating in hourly rounding and evaluating the quality of nursing practice to meet patient goals.
• Observing safety protocols and maintaining safe work practices.
• Delegating tasks and utilizing independent judgment to direct healthcare staff.

• Current RN license in the state and CPR certification; ACLS required as applicable.
• Effective interpersonal skills, ability to work in fast-paced environments, and strong customer service skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Preferred: BSN, minimum of two years' ICU experience, specialty certifications, and additional certifications such as PALS, NRP, or Wound Care based on the unit.

• Ability to assess patient needs, determine diagnoses, set realistic outcomes, and guide patients and families in achieving care goals.
• Implementation of appropriate nursing and medical orders, with ongoing evaluation of care effectiveness.
• Participation in shift activities, including safety checks and quality assessments.
