Moon Valley Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Certified Pediatric Nurse
Practitioner (CPNP-PC) or Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with pediatric experience (FNP-C)
to join our well-established pediatric primary care practice in West Phoenix/Avondale, AZ. This
is an exciting opportunity to step into a thriving patient panel at a practice that is actively
growing.
About the Opportunity
Our Avondale practice has served the community for 5+ years and was recently acquired by a
North Phoenix-based pediatrician expanding pediatric care in the area. We're moving into a
brand-new, larger office just across the road and expanding our clinic days. We anticipate
continued growth in this area and expect to add another provider within 6 months, meaning
strong long-term stability and room for advancement for the right candidate.
What You'll Do
● Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric primary care to infants, children, and
adolescents
● Conduct well-child visits, sick visits, developmental screenings, and immunizations
● Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
● Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans
● Educate and counsel patients and families on health, wellness, and preventive care
● Participate in periodic quality improvement projects sponsored by the practice
● Collaborate with practice leadership as the clinic grows
● Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Qualifications
●
Education:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited PNP or FNP
program
● Certification:
Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care (CPNP-PC)
preferred
● Licensure:
Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain); new
graduates welcome to apply
● BLS/PALS:
Current BLS certification required; PALS preferred
● Clinical skills:
Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a
commitment to warm, family-centered care
● Documentation:
Proficiency with accurate, timely clinical documentation for compliance
and continuity of care
