Overview
Position Summary:
What you’ll do and how you’ll contribute as a Member Frontline Services associate at Sam’s Club. You will provide member service, maintain the checkout area, resolve member issues, promote products and services, and support self-service technology. You will assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies and procedures for different membership and payment types, and follow safety standards and guidelines.
- Provide member service and assist with purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies.
- Maintain the checkout area and entrances/exits; acknowledge members, verify membership cards, and identify member needs.
- Assist members with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, and transport items as needed; promote the company’s products and services.
- Zone areas, arrange and organize merchandise, and maintain a safe shopping environment; follow procedures for handling merchandise and report unsafe situations.
- Maintain security by observing and reporting potential criminal activity; safeguard Sam’s Club assets and property; maintain necessary documentation and logs; execute emergency response procedures; ensure compliance with safety practices.
- Assist with training of Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures; teach new technology and tool functionality; deliver rollout training and support continuous learning and process improvement.
- Ensure area of responsibility complies with policies by handling returns properly, identifying shrink and damages, and maintaining organization.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by applying related action plans and the Open Door Policy in business processes and practices.
- Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support a culture of respect, teamwork, and integrity; contribute to a positive environment, uphold Walmart values, and act with integrity and accountability.

Walmart for information. - The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00 per hour. The actual rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location.
- Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, potentially based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
