Position SummaryRehabilitate vehicle TBC sales floor, maintain safety, handle inventory, assist members with tire and battery services, drive sales, manage workflow, uphold compliance, provide member service, support team, ensure accurate documentation, and support company policies.
What You'll Do- Maintain facility and sales floor safety; conduct safety sweeps, handle forklift and hazardous materials, comply with steel standards, report unsafe situations.
- Ensure the Tire and Battery Center (TBC) sales floor is organized, stocked, zoned, merchandised, and that claims, returns, shrink, and damages are properly handled.
- Stock, set up, clean, and organize product displays; remove damaged goods; sign and price merchandise; secure fragile/high‑shrink items.
- Monitor tire and battery orders daily; assist members with installation appointments; communicate lead changes and cancellations; suggest alternatives.
- Provide expert member service—greeting, needs identification, purchasing/service recommendations, warranty explanations, and issue resolution.
- Drive sales and service excellence by communicating value and collaborating across the club to promote TBC offerings.
- Prioritize service workflow in TBC bays; use Sam’s Garage to identify waiting members; manage appointments to maximize efficiency.
- Apply safety and compliance protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, TPMS, product specs, seasonality, Point‑of‑Sale systems, and sales techniques.
- Leverage digital tools and handheld devices to plan sales, improve service experience, and make real‑time decisions.
- Act as a brand advocate, model high quality service, develop team members, assist training and remove roadblocks.
- Operate TBC equipment safely; receive, store, dispose merchandise; complete documents; manage cash register; process purchases, returns, refunds, exchanges.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, integrity, Open Door Policy, and business practices.
- Complete assignments using policies, data, resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers and partners; communicate progress; recommend improvements; adapt to change and feedback.
- Embody and promote workplace values: respect the individual, act with integrity, serve customers and members, and strive for excellence.
- Adhere to safety, security guidelines, and legal regulations in TBC handling and services.
- Maintain proper Point‑of‑Sale procedures, prevent shrink, assist with payment methods, returns, and location inquiries; report issues.
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Experience in auto service industry or retail (preferred).
