Maintenance - Jared Jewelers - Gateway Pavillion

Overview

Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry is seeking a Maintenance / Porter to support store operations and maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and employees.

• Performs all general maintenance, inside and outside the store
• Maintains the appearance of the sales floor by picking up spills and debris
• Maintains glass windows and doors, keeping them free from spots
• Cleans and maintains public restrooms on a designated schedule
• Maintains the break room in a clean, neat, and orderly fashion
• Maintains the outside appearance of the store by sweeping or picking up debris and ensuring trash containers are emptied regularly
• Clears away snow, slush, or ice from in front of the entrance
• Monitors maintenance performed by contracted vendors
• Utilizes company guidelines for related maintenance processes
• Performs other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Genuine desire to service customers and keep retail locations orderly
• Positive attitude and ability to be a team player
• Moderate interpersonal relations and communication skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools, basic carpentry skills
• Visual and auditory acuity
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
