As a Store Merchandiser, you'll play a key role in executing product placement strategies across retail locations, enhancing shelf visibility, and maximizing display space for Smithfield and Private Label items. This fast‑paced role involves working independently to stock merchandise, maintain Point‑of‑Sale materials, and follow route schedules while applying flavor schematics and safety practices. You'll collaborate cross functionally to support new product launches, drive sales growth, and deliver exceptional service that connects our products with consumers in meaningful ways.

• Retail & Merchandising Execution:
  Provide merchandising and retail support across all accounts by executing deli store sets, coordinating with warehouses for product placement, ensuring proper shelf presence of Smithfield and Private Label deli items to drive distribution, and maintaining all Point‑of‑Sales materials.
• Promotions & Advertising:
  Support promotional efforts and advertising campaigns by coordinating demos and training sessions that enhance product knowledge, merchandising effectiveness, and food safety awareness.
• Relationship Management:
  Develop relationships at store, wholesale, and manufacturing levels.
• Market Analysis & Strategy:
  Utilize market data (rankings, sales trends, etc.) to improve placement and retail support.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of relevant experience required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Work experience with spreadsheet, word processing, and sales software applications.
