Repair Technician (Guitar)

The Repair Technician will provide maintenance and repair services on customer‑owned instruments and assist in maintaining store inventory, continually building and increasing the business through great customer experience and quality work.

  • Customer Focus:
    Understands customer service principles, provides an excellent customer experience, and is approachable, genuine, knowledgeable, encouraging, passionate, and committed to helping customers.
  • Initiative:
    Identifies opportunities & issues and follows through to capitalize or resolve them; learns quickly and takes positive action without being requested; develops product, store operations, sales and leadership knowledge.
  • Selling:
    Works through GC certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques.
  • Training:
    Effectively trains learners and communicates information and techniques so that they are retained.
Responsibilities
  • Interact with customers, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Service customer‑owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship.
  • Maintain store‑owned gear as requested.
  • Complete warranty repair work.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Skilled understanding of repairing guitars.
Preferences
  • Foundational product knowledge on Guitar Center products.
