High Horse Power Field Service Diesel Technician – Cummins Inc., Avondale, AZ.

Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site.

• Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintain own tools
• Complete complex internal engine repairs
• Perform engine overhauls unassisted
• Have detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
• Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software

• MSHA certification required (paid by Cummins)
• Valid driver’s license and a 5-year motor vehicle report free from major violations
• Pass Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and meet DOT driving regulations, including Hours of Service and electronic log booking device use
• 21 years of age or older
• 3 years driving experience
• Basic level field service work experience
• Intermediate knowledge and/or experience with engine products
• Customer service experience
• Apprentice trained engine technician preferred
• Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
• Locally valid driving permit

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Sign‑on bonus up to $5,000 and relocation assistance.
