Step into a rewarding role impacting young learners across K8 and 68 settings for the upcoming school year! This contract opportunity, stretching from July 29, 2026 to May 21, 2027, blends clinical expertise and mentorship as you support students and guide an SLPA across two school sites. Your days will run from 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM, totaling a consistent 40-hour week.
With the first day of school beginning August 3, you'll play a vital role right from the start.
Your caseload will encompass approximately 90 students, spanning preschoolers needing speech-only services to school-aged children in both general education and mild cross-categorical classrooms. The environment is collaborative, modern, and supportive with a focus on leveraging technology to enhance learning.
Preferred Experience &Qualifications:
- Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathology CCC or valid eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in pediatric and school-based settings
- Proficiency working with diverse student populations (preschool through middle school)
- Ability to supervise and foster the professional growth of an SLPA
- Skilled in Google Workspace (Calendar, Docs) for scheduling and documentation
- Comfortable using virtual meeting platforms and digital scheduling tools
- Deliver speech-language therapy individually and in groups, as determined by IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Supervise and coach an SLPA, ensuring adherence to best practices
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
