Seeking a reliable local driving role that brings you home after every single shift? We are onboarding experienced Class A CDL drivers for an active yard switching and local hostling operation based out of Phoenix, Arizona. This hourly role keeps you moving locally while ensuring dependable home time and steady weekly pay.
Starting Hourly Pay Rate: $23.00 to $24.50 per hour (based on experience)
Overtime Rate: Time-and-a-half pay active after completing 40 hours in a work week
Target Weekly Schedule: ~45 to 50 total working hours per week
Average Weekly Pay: $1,200 gross per week
Calculated Annual Earnings: $62,400 per year ($1,200/wk × 52 weeks)
Home Time Routine: 100% Home Daily
Workplace Environment: Active yard switching and hostling duty that involves physical mobility outdoors across fluctuating hot and cold seasonal weather conditions
Driver Qualifications & Fleet Perks:
- Experience Level: First seat experienced Class A drivers only. No trainees or team setups accepted on this lane.
- Hiring Radius: Drivers must reside within 50 miles of the terminal hub in Phoenix, Arizona (Zip Code: 85043).
- Credentials: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and current DOT Medical Certificate (no specialized endorsements required).
- Schedule & Shift Flexibility: Operates across both day and night shift windows; weekend shifts are active.
- Holiday Expectations: Christmas Day is the primary scheduled facility closure.
- Screening Standards: Must pass mandatory pre-employment hair follicle and urine DOT drug screenings (Non-SAP compliant) alongside background and MVR checks.
