Warehouse Worker - Order Selector - 1st Shift

Multi-Temp Facility:

-10° F to 90° F

Pay: $21.68/hr

1st Shift: 4AM - 2:30PM. Days off to be determined;
Weekends and holidays required.

• Accurately stage and sort products for loading
• Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas
• Stack cardboard boxes and pallets
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Comply with all safety requirements
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to production
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to packing station or shipping department
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently with customer service, multi‑tasking, organizational, flexible, number‑ and time‑management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule and location
• Complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (past employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening required

• Must remember and understand instructions, guidelines, or other information; must see and verbally communicate; requires close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Must move frequently, stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs (45 kg)
