Vehicle Technician – Chippenham, Wiltshire – £32,000 Per Annum People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Motor Mechanic to join our well-established client based in Chippenham, Wiltshire . This is a fantastic permanent opportunity offering approximately £32,000 per annum, Monday-to-Friday daytime working, alternate Saturday mornings and 22 days' annual leave plus bank holidays. £32,000 Per Annum | Permanent Position | Monday to Friday | Alternate Saturday Mornings | 22 Days' Holiday  Bank Holidays This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as a Vehicle Technician, Motor Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Service Technician or Car Mechanic and hold a recognised Level 3 automotive qualification.

Shifts
• Monday to Friday: 08:30–17:00
• Every other Saturday: 08:30–12:30
• Permanent, full-time position
• Immediate start available Rates of Pay
• Approximately £32,000 per annum Benefits As a Vehicle Technician, you will receive:

• Varied servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repair work
• Opportunities to further develop technical skills Day-to-Day Duties As a Vehicle Technician, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
• Completing repairs and replacing faulty or worn components
• Working on brakes, suspension, steering, engines and other vehicle systems
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and health checks
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults
• Identifying and reporting additional work required
• Completing MOT testing if appropriately qualified
• Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed Essential Skills To be successful as a Vehicle Technician, you will need:
• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Motor Mechanic, Automotive Technician or similar
• Good servicing, maintenance and repair experience
• Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills
• Experience using workshop tools and diagnostic equipment
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and professional approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Experience
• MOT Tester qualification (advantageous but not essential) Training Provided
