Job DescriptionA classroom teacher in ASRSD will implement engaging lessons that develop student understanding in a supportive classroom environment that fosters student belonging. This position is a .4 FTE, teaching one preschool classroom daily. The hours will be 8:25am to 11:25am.
- Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with Massachusetts curriculum standards using district-assigned curricular materials
- Assess student progress through various methods and use the information to adjust instruction
- Provide an equitable classroom environment by effectively meeting the individual needs of all students
- Regularly communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior
- Collaborate with peers and participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices
- Complete other duties as assigned by the building administration

- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
